Your Responsibilities

We are currently looking for Animal Caretakers for farms in Gotland and the surrounding area, with an immediate start.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking engaged and responsible animal caretakers for full-time positions on farms in Gotland. Your main tasks will include daily care of cows, which involves daily husbandry, milking with a robot (Delaval). Feeding and health checks are also part of your daily work. Machine operation is also part of the job, so experience with tractor or front loader operation is highly meritorious. Working hours are full-time/daytime (40 hours/week). Weekend work may occur. Salary according to collective agreement, holiday pay, and pension benefits.

Your Profile

We are looking for you if you have a good eye for animals and experience working with cows. Key qualities are that you are loyal and dutiful, flexible, and structured. Working on a farm involves great freedom under responsibility, and you are not afraid to jump in where needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with cows/cattle.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Category B driver's license and car – as public transport is limited.
• Meritorious if you have experience with machine operation and knowledge of repair and maintenance.
• Highly meritorious if you have knowledge of artificial insemination/pregnancy checks.
